Vermont Inns — Where the Deer and the Antelope Play
Animal lovers enjoy vacationing in places that allow wildlife to roam freely. This could be why so many of them book rooms at Vermont inns.
There is a host of wildlife that romps the Vermont plains, and if a tourist is lucky, they may get one of the critters to strike a pose for them.
The best part about acquiring accommodations at a New Hampshire bed and breakfast or Vermont inn is that you could literally walk outside your door and find a deer crossing your path.
Other indigenous animals and birds like moose, muskrats, woodchucks, fisher cats, coyotes black bear, wild turkeys, fox, pheasants and beaver may not stroll up to you, but you can happen upon them during hikes.
As for bears, the basic rule of thumb is to stay away from areas where they have been known to congregate.
More often than not, wildlife will leave you alone if you leave them alone.
Nature photographers and those who enjoy knowing that they are cohabitating with nature’s creatures will certainly get the most out of vacationing in Vermont.
They will also be able to rest comfortably in a Vermont, New Hampshire or even a Massachusetts inn that could soon become their new home away from home.
