So I’m a travel girl.  I love to travel, I went to school abroad, I have friends in more than 17 countries across the globe.  I travel every chance I get.  So my family, when they’re hard up for a gift for me, likes to give me travel presents.  My dad keeps giving me those travel pillows and then forgetting he’s given them to me, so I have about seventeen on my bed; I don’t actually like to travel with them.  My brother likes to give me electronic gadgets, like the Kindle (love!) and an iPhone because it’s a quad band (meaning I can use it in any country, any where in the world). 

Recently though, he gave me this little solar electric charger.  It’s totally cool; it works by using solar power to charge up any device.  I have a plug for my iPhone, iPod, Kindle and any other gadget I’m taking along.  I never knew many facts about solar energy before, but I have to say, this thing is a life saver.  I went on safari in South Africa (no plugs there!) and suffice to say, I was very popular on that trip.  This tiny little device is worth its weight in gold.
