Finding Your True Passion

I went to the University of Pennsylvania for my undergraduate studies in engineering. After finishing my studies I went on to find a great job with a great company working with instruments that are flow measurement readers, and trying to find ways to improve the product we manufacture. I have great memories of college and for some reason the fall season brings back those memories of collegiate football, leaves changing colors, and weirdly enough the first time I came across a flow meter

You might think I am weird or that I have some odd obsession with the mechanics of working objects, but nonetheless I have a passion for flow reading or more specifically mass air flow meters. Have you ever looked at an object and wondered how it worked? My brother was obsessed with taking apart and putting back together radios as a child. This is how I feel about flow measurers.

In one of my engineering classes we got into the discussion of these subjects and my teacher brought out one. I could not stop from thinking about how it worked, how it was manufactured and inevitably how I could maximize it’s potential. That was the day I decided I had made the correct decision to be an engineer.
