My Sis Is Often Right

My little sister is six years younger than me. Because of this, I tend to always think that I’m right and she’s wrong. The truth of the matter is, however, that she has recommended a lot of things to me that turned out to be things that she was right about even though I made fun of her when she first suggested them.
For example, she was the one who told me that the Cookie Diet was a good weight loss program. I told her that this was ridiculous. How can you lose weight on a diet of cookies? She patiently explained to me that this wasn’t just about eating cookies. I tried it out and she was right.
She was also right when she told me that I’d probably really like some of the country music that she listens to if I’d give it half a chance. I made faces and said something about the annoying twang but she rapidly won me over by introducing me to songs with lyrics that I loved.
The great thing about my sister is that she never says “I told you so”. She also never stops recommending smart things to me even though I continue to be stubborn about allowing her to be right. What a great girl!

I’m the youngest of three kids but in my family it’s the opposite. Both of my siblings come to me with questions because I ended up finishing school, went to college, and have a pretty good life overall.

Are we talking about old country music or new country music? I love old country but I can’t listen but to so much of the newer stuff. Part of it is due to that most of today’s singers just cannot sing.

Dieting is extremely tough. How do you cope with the cravings for different foods? Personally, I am having a tough time of it.
