Last night one of my buddies asked if he could borrow one of my quads. Now I wouldn’t loan out my really good and fast one, but I do have a second quad that I drag along for whoever the current girlfriend may be or guests. So I told him it would be no problem since I totally owe him a few favors. I even told him he could use my utility trailer so he wouldn’t have to load it in the back of his pickup. Not that loading it into the back of a truck is difficult; it can just be a little scary if you are a novice to drive up the ramps into the bed of a truck.

Anyway, he wants to use it to go explore some hunting land for sale that he might buy. I guess that in Arizona land for sale is still pretty common, and there are some prime pieces of land for sale in the northern part of the state that are really still pretty affordable. The one he is looking at has something like 40 acres, and according to him there is even a trout stream that runs right though the center of it. They have all been parceled out, and there is decent access from dirt roads to the various parcels. According to him, the power lines run along the road, but if you want water you need to drill a well.
