My husband recently accepted a job in the Orlando area. Now, we are in quite a tizzy trying to sell our home and find a new one in the area. Moving is such a big deal! Before we can say goodbye to our old neighborhood, we need to pick from among the many Florida new homes for sale. We have been drawn into the idea of buying a custom home for a few reasons. We’re in a hurry to find a place, so we won’t be building from the ground up. Still, with the many custom models for sale on the market today, we think we’ll be able to find an incredible place to raise our kids.

The features that are attracting us to this type of purchase include:

• The designs - We’ve looked at a lot of homes in the Orlando area so far and the custom models stand out for the workability of their designs. They are elegant, but livable.
• The quality - They say that homes aren’t made like “they used to be.” This isn’t so with new custom homes. The attention to detail and quality are amazing.
• The reputation - Some of Orlando’s best custom home builders are also tops in other markets. One in particular has caught our eye. This builder is known for award-winning custom homes in Dunnellon, Tampa, Orlando and beyond.

We’re still looking and hoping to find “the place.” Tomorrow, we’re going to view some models created by the builder we’re interest in. I have a good feeling about this!
