Around the same time I had put my Tampa condo rental on the market, I was shocked how many people it appeared were moving into the area. This shock was due to two main reasons:

1. Few people ever leave their Tampa apartments, so most of the time it is hard to find a place in the area.
2. Of all the places one can move to, it seems strange that so many people were looking for apartments in Tampa Florida.

Regarding number 2, don’t get me wrong, I love the area. But I have lived here for a long time and had never seen this many people looking for a place in the area.

And regarding number 1, there are a lot of people that come here to retire or relax and get away from the stressful work environments. Meaning that people do not move out, because this area tends to be their final destination.

Of course, I do not have any problem with this. Hopefully it will help me rent my condo. But still, I’m surprised by the flow. Makes me wonder if there is anything I’m leaving behind that I do not yet know about. That would be unfortunate.
