My dream house has some very specific aspects to its look that I am just not willing to compromise on. As I’m continuing to refine my architectural drawings, I find myself seeing clearer and clearer exactly how the finished home will look.

Very important to the front of the house is that double hung windows are the prominent feature, next to the massively tall, double front door.

There is just something about the look of that style of windows that has always held my attention. I’ve also found a specific brand of french doors that will work so nicely with the windows that it makes me giddy to see what the end result is likely to actually look like.

Opting for the French doors over a more standard and functional set of patio doors allows me the luxury of having a higher end look without having to spend an exorbitant amount of money to get that same high class effect.

As I begin to move my design efforts towards the interior of the house, I hope that I am able to find the specific furnishings that I envision will complete the masterpiece that will be the last home I ever purchase.
