Supplement Questions

I’ve read a lot of articles and seen some commercials lately about creating a personalized supplement regimen for yourself. You know, analyzing what you eat (or don’t eat), your life stages, and taking into account any deficiencies or needs you might have.
I don’t eat a lot of red meat, so I might need iron, but I eat a ton of fish; my mother doesn’t eat any fish, so she takes fish oil supplements. I also like to take a general vitamin for my age group. Recently someone else said that I should start taking Vitamin C because I get colds really frequently, and then someone else said that because I’m still in a teen developing stage, I should probably try finding some HGH for sale because that could potentially do a lot for me without much risk.
Then someone else told me that if I took ginseng supplements I could concentrate much better during tests and homework, which sounds really useful to me. I also know that even if you’re mixing natural supplements, there can be harsh side effects. How do I get the full effect of vitamins and supplements that could be very beneficial to me as I develop and still avoid any harsh side effects or mistakes?
