There seems to be something happening in the paintball industry over the past few years.  Among friends I have started to notice that many who used to swear by the ways of the paintball are now selling their paintball gear and turning to airsoft So after noticing this trend, I figured they all can’t be wrong.  So I decided to give it a whirl.  Let me tell you this, taking out a few KWA airsoft on the range has left me wondering why I spent so many years playing paintball. 

The sheer usability of airsoft far outweighs paintball and it turns out that it is significantly less expensive for both start-up costs and upgrades.  The one thing I’ve enjoyed most about my transition is the amount of choice available to me now.  For example, the echo1 airsoft line of gear will leave any paintball shop in the dark.  Whether you are a seasoned paintball pro looking for something new or someone who has never tried either, airsoft is a rewarding a fun addition to anyone’s life.  But if you stand by your paintball past with pride in your eye, it might be best to not even try airsoft.  Because, trust me, you will never go back.
