Mobile Notary Saves the Day

About a month ago my wife and I had to put her mother in a hospice. We had both been very apprehensive about doing that, but the time had come. I know we both felt quite a bit of guilt about it too. The staff however is very good and it seems like they genuinely care.
Now we are running around like chickens with our heads cut off trying to get everything in order for when the time comes. We were under the impression that she had all of her affairs in order. Well her affairs most certainly are not in order. I know people get apprehensive regarding planning for their own death, but pretending you are ready and actually being ready are two entirely different things.
Several of the items which have come up required notarization. Of course she is stuck in the hospice and can’t go buzzing around with us to a California notary. We learned something new when we set out to find a notary, because we actually found a mobile notary. She was able to come to the hospice where we had all kinds of paperwork like a power of attorney, vehicle registrations and so forth all ready to go. Without the mobile notary, I don’t know how we would have pulled that one off.
