Sadly as we get older and have families, the snazzy sports car has to give away to a minivan.  Before we were driving down the road in a Mustang, Charger, or even a Sunfire and now we are riding an Aerostar.  Since our priorities have changed in our life, the types of van accessories that we will purchase will change as well.

Did you ever think that you would ever own a vehicle with a ladder rack or a bike rack on it?  Well if you own a minivan, you better start considering one.  You will need to have some type of rack on the top of you van to occasionally haut things on, especially if you have several kids.  No, you can’t put your kids on the rack and drive them around, although that may be preferable at times.

If you have kids, you better invest in a catch all or two.  Kids will make messes and plenty of them.  Food, drink, mud, snow, and anything else that can cause a mess will one time or another be tracked in by your children.  Take steps now to attempt to save your carpet or at least reduce the overall damage.
